We will have 3 home games and 3 away games. The State has limited fans to 250 people for outside activities. Each team is allowed 125 fans. We are limiting 125 spectators on the home side and 125 spectators will be allowed from visiting schools on the away side. Tickets will be available in the office for participant’s families (2 per family) but not to the public at this time. Tickets are not yet ready. Please do not contact the office at this time for tickets. Fans will be expected to maintain 6’ of distancing and to wear masks. Spectators and home fans will have separate entrances and bathrooms. Home fans will enter and exit from the HUSKIES gate only and use the porta-potty on the home side. Away fans will enter and exit from the east (baseball) gate and use the bathrooms on the away side. No concessions will be available.
This limitation applies to all school grounds including the fenced-in football field, along with the surrounding grass area, track, practice fields and the hill adjacent to the football field.
We will have 6 home games and 6 away games.
UPDATE 10/08/2020 9 am:
The MSHSL just now released a decision to allow fans to volleyball events. Because of the short turn around time of planning and preparing the facility, we've been informed that Windom is not allowing fans tonight at the away VB game.
For future games, games will not be open to the public and each participant will be given 2 tickets. Fans must maintain 6' of distance from other families and 12' of distance from participants. Fans will wear masks. Coaches will inform and distribute tickets to players next week. Please do not contact the school at this time about the tickets. Thank you for understanding we are also just learning this information and planning to implement these new protocols next week.
We are respecting all guidelines to assure our kids can continue to be in school and play sports. Click here to read the MN Department of Health Guidance, MSHSL rules and MSHSL event and facility management guidance and information.
Personal behaviors and decisions are just as important outside of school hours and events, and we ask you respect social distancing guidelines as you view the game. We will be live streaming the game through the Husky Live Network at no charge to fans this year.
Thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation as we navigate these new rules. We are happy participants will get to play and wish them a successful season.
