Jackson County Central Schools Community Education offers enrichment courses, programs, bus trips, youth sports, continuing education, and recreation activities for anyone who is interested.

Jackson County Central Community Education

classes are cancelled.

At this time, in accordance with Executive Order 20-99 (EO), all in-person organized youth and adult sports activities - including practices, workouts, games, tournaments and competitions - are paused and not allowed during the four weeks from Friday, November 20, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. through Friday, December 19, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.

As you know, there are new restrictions and executive orders from the Governor of Minnesota. Listed below are the mandatory best practices for all JCC activities, effective immediately:

MASKS ARE MANDATORY AT ALL TIMES PER GOVERNOR’S ORDER.

Exception: Participants may remove masks only to participate in activities requiring exertion. Masks must be worn both before and after said activity.

Coaches, Instructors and Participants must have temperatures taken and recorded, along with answering screening questions upon arrival.

Participants and parents will be asked to leave immediately following the activity.

Please wait outside or in a vehicle.

Come dressed for your activity.

Participants are to bring their own water bottle, refill stations are available.

Only the family restroom near the Auxiliary Gym is available or limited outdoor restrooms.

No more than 25 individuals per pod.

All touched equipment will be sanitized between pods.

Practice social distancing at all times, in all common areas, bathrooms and JCC grounds.

 

As always...

Please wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.

Stay home if you have any COVID symptoms (even if mild). If you have been exposed (even if low risk).

Stay positive!

Lead by example. Please refrain from negative commentary regarding the programs, the restrictions, JCC guidelines, and any authority figures.

 

Overall, we are doing extremely well so far. If everyone follows the guidelines it will make for an enjoyable experience for all AND keep each of our activities going.
