Superintendent, Interim - OFFER PENDING

Applicants must possess a valid Minnesota superintendent’s license by 7/1/2025. A collaborative, relationship-building leader with experience in strategic planning and finance is preferred. Strong communication skills required.

Media Center (HS) Specialist / Technology Assistant

We’re looking for a reliable, organized, and tech-friendly individual to join our school team in an 11-month position (with July off) that plays a key role in supporting both the media center and school technology needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and likes helping others in a school setting.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A dependable, flexible person who enjoys working with students and staff.

  • Someone who is comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems.

  • Organized and detail-oriented—especially when tracking items or managing checklists.

  • A good communicator who can work independently and juggle multiple tasks.

  • Experience in a school or library setting is a bonus, but not required.

  • A license is preferred but not necessary.

What You’ll Do:

  • Keep the media center running smoothly—check in/out books, organize materials, assist students and staff, and supervise the space.

  • Set up and manage student devices (like tablets and laptops), track them during the year, and assist with collection and distribution at the beginning and end of the school year.

  • Provide basic tech support to staff and students.

  • Assist with student testing and help maintain a quiet, professional environment.

  • Track simple supplies (like printer toner and bulbs) and assist with school inventory.

  • Upload student pictures and help with setting up student accounts and ID badges.

  • Support school-wide organization efforts throughout the year—especially in the fall and spring.

  • Help out with other projects or school needs as assigned.

 Payroll Clerk

This position is responsible for all aspects of payroll. Enters and codes leave for all employees.  Initiates, calculates, verifies, and completes all payrolls in a timely fashion. Enters edits, adjustments and setup items in timeclock plus.  Exports data between systems. Maintains and updates all employee payroll information. Prepares withholding checks and verifies balances in general ledger accounts. Enters garnishments, levies and child support payments. Calculates, verifies, and completes all state, federal, employee, and other reports as required. Prepares quarterly and year end reports. Maintains information on all payroll programs such as insurance, flexible benefits, various voluntary withholdings, etc. Submits transfers for flexible account payments as well as health savings accounts.  Creates, adjusts and sends other payroll bills. Administers the Long Term Disability Program, including determining eligibility and computing payment. Manages benefits. Provides information and assistance for budgeting, negotiations, and pay equity.  Maintains payroll reports. Coordinates new teacher orientation for payroll information and questions. Prepares salary and benefit information for the budget. Assists with year-end audit procedures. Prepares and disseminates teacher notice of assignments, non-certified work assignments and employee extra duty data. Completes wire transfers as needed. Codes revenues for the district, reclassifies/adjusts when necessary. Manages SMART FIN system in cooperation with Business Manager including but not limited to receipting/coding of revenues, building codes. Balance monthly receipts including interest statements from all accounts. Creates, proofs and disburses W-2 reports.  Maintains records for 1099 reporting.  Initiates forms.  Generates correspondence for tax information. Tracks and reports Affordable Care Act information. Calculates and distributes COBRA information to employees leaving or retiring as well as other paperwork for retirees. Creates and pays schedule B employees on schedule as indicated in the master agreement. Prints manual and board checks.  Prepares the same for mailing. Assists the main office as needed. Other duties as assigned.

This is a year long position starting in September 2025. Pay is negotiable around $19/hour with benefits.

 

 Head Cook 

The High School is looking for a Head Cook. This position is during the school year. The starting pay is $16 / hour. Hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

 

Assistant Cook

Riverside is looking for an Assistant Head Cook. This position is during the school year. The starting pay is $15 / hour. Hours are Monday through Friday. 30 hours per week.

Cottonwood Jackson CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) Program

The Cottonwood Jackson CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) Program is looking for
a half-time position starting at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year. Ninety minutes of the
day is spent with the students, and the balance is used for arranging business visits, guest
speakers, calling on business people, etc. Our CEO candidate would be expected to establish
and maintain relationships within the local business communities, prepare communications for a
transparent program, and build a learning environment that allows students to succeed.
Established in 2023, the Cottonwood Jackson CEO program has built a strong foundation and
we are looking for the next facilitator to lead our program.
