Social Studies Teacher (long term sub - semester 2)!
JCC High School is seeking a long term sub Social Studies Teacher to join us for second semester (starting January 26, 2026). Position is open now and closed when filled.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team at the High School. Pay will be based on experience and education. Starting pay for a first year teacher with a bachelor's degree is $47,000 (based on the 24-25 contract). This amount would be prorated for days worked as will the benefits package.
A Minnesota teaching license is required. You can obtain a Minnesota teaching license at PELSB.

Community Education Coordinator
This position is responsible for the efficient and economical management of the community education department.
The School District is seeking a Community Education Coordinator to lead and manage comprehensive community education and youth enrichment programs. This role oversees the planning, administration, promotion, and evaluation of year-round classes and activities, while ensuring compliance with state guidelines and district policies. Responsibilities include customer service and registration support, hiring and supervising instructors and staff, managing facilities and schedules, developing marketing materials, collaborating with community partners, and supporting advisory councils. The coordinator manages program budgets, fees, payroll, reporting, grants, and fundraising, maintains accurate records, and prepares required state and board reports. The position also oversees fitness center operations and equipment, monitors program quality through site visits, and responds to community needs. Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, experience in community education or recreation (preferred), and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
This position is 28 hours per week and is a year long position starting March 1, 2026. Pay is $17-$19.50/hour with benefits.
Payroll Clerk
This position is responsible for all aspects of payroll. Enters and codes leave for all employees. Initiates, calculates, verifies, and completes all payrolls in a timely fashion. Enters edits, adjustments and setup items in timeclock plus. Exports data between systems. Maintains and updates all employee payroll information. Prepares withholding checks and verifies balances in general ledger accounts. Enters garnishments, levies and child support payments. Calculates, verifies, and completes all state, federal, employee, and other reports as required. Prepares quarterly and year end reports. Maintains information on all payroll programs such as insurance, flexible benefits, various voluntary withholdings, etc. Submits transfers for flexible account payments as well as health savings accounts. Creates, adjusts and sends other payroll bills. Administers the Long Term Disability Program, including determining eligibility and computing payment. Manages benefits. Provides information and assistance for budgeting, negotiations, and pay equity. Maintains payroll reports. Coordinates new teacher orientation for payroll information and questions. Prepares salary and benefit information for the budget. Assists with year-end audit procedures. Prepares and disseminates teacher notice of assignments, non-certified work assignments and employee extra duty data. Completes wire transfers as needed. Codes revenues for the district, reclassifies/adjusts when necessary. Manages SMART FIN system in cooperation with Business Manager including but not limited to receipting/coding of revenues, building codes. Balance monthly receipts including interest statements from all accounts. Creates, proofs and disburses W-2 reports. Maintains records for 1099 reporting. Initiates forms. Generates correspondence for tax information. Tracks and reports Affordable Care Act information. Calculates and distributes COBRA information to employees leaving or retiring as well as other paperwork for retirees. Creates and pays schedule B employees on schedule as indicated in the master agreement. Prints manual and board checks. Prepares the same for mailing. Assists the main office as needed. Other duties as assigned.
This is a year long position starting in September 2025. Pay is negotiable around $19/hour with benefits.

These positions are 40 hours per week
Positions are year-round (260 days per year) with benefits including health insurance, holidays, vacation, sick leave, earned safe and sick leave, and clothing reimbursement. All employees participate in PERA for retirement. Summers - work 4 - 10 hour days!!
$17.50 for Head Custodian and $16 for Custodian with differential for evenings, weekends and special licenses.

The Jackson Pool is hiring a pool manager responsible for the care and upkeep of the pool as well as managing lifeguards, arranging swimming lessons and other related duties. Certifications preferred. This position is part time but could have full time potential.
