3rd Grade Reading

Vocabulary words and spelling lists for each story are stapled in the planner.

Please check the spelling list for the post-test date. (This varies from week to week.)

Encourage lots of reading at home.  The students are to take their reading book and a question sheet ( with 5 questions) home after we read each story.  Please  listen to your child read orally.  Enjoy this time together!

Our AR goal for second quarter is 10 points (or more!) with at least 80%  accuracy.

Skills for this quarter are: context clues, story elements (characters, setting, plot), using a diagram and map, summarizing, making inferences, main idea, etc.
