MATH

We have been working on telling time to the half hour, quarter hour, and to the minute.  We have been working on A.M. and P.M., too.

Other "time" concepts we have been learning about are using calendars, schedules, sequencing events, and elapsed time.

Multiplication facts are introduced in January.  We are learning about the connection between addition and multiplication. Flash cards will be sent home as we work on the mult. facts.

Please encourage your child to work on math facts at home daily.

My math group has a practice time-test folder with addition and

subtraction practice sheets to help them improve their speed and

accuracy.  Please encourage your child to work on the multiplication

facts, too!  Thanks for all your help!
