Spelling
 

We take practice tests on Wednesdays and the final test is every Friday.

Although we do practice spelling in school. It will not be enough for most students.  Please help your child master spelling and reading each weeks words.

Spelling Tips:

Work on spelling each night for 10 minutes.
Have your child spell them orally and write them.
These are 2 very different skills.
Make a spelling game.  Example:  Hangman with spelling.
Have your child body spell.  They do this each week in class.
Discuss with your child the meaning of each word or have them use it in a sentence.
