In Math we are learning all about addition and subtraction.   We started a new program to help with memorizing facts called Rocket Math.  Boys and girls practice a set of math facts every day until they can pass a test at their level.  We are still trying to get used to it, and it's sometimes hard to squeeze in the daily tests, but we're getting more and more comfortable with the program.  If you have flash cards at home, use them to practice a little everyday - it will really help!! 

    We are now working on Place Value, counting by 2's, 5's and 10's, and looking for patterns. We will be trying to work harder on problem solving using math stories.  Also, we will be practicing counting money and telling time.
