If you have any old printer ink cartridges that you can no longer use please bring them into the office at Pleasantview. We are able to send them for recycling and get some money back!.

Pleasantview is still collecting the following items but it is now being handled thru the PTO.

Land O Lakes Milk (white and chocolate) and Juice.   They are only found on the gallon jugs of all types of Land O Lakes and we need the whole jug cap.  The label has to be attached.  You can drop these off at the Pleasantview School, Maynard's grocery store or Almost New Consignment store.  They are worth 5 cents each so the more we receive the more money we can collect.   Thanks for all who bring in fund raiser items to the school.

Pop can tabs.

NEW:  Starting immediately, we no longer are collecting the front of the Campbell soup cans, but now need the UPC code and the little man next to the code.  Please be careful taking the label off the can.  You can still send the whole label and we can cut it off or just send the required part to school or drop off at the local business.   Thanks for your help.

Just a reminder to all parents   It  might become necessary to close schools early due to inclement weather. If so, it will be announced over the radio at least one hour before the buses depart.  By the same token, when a severe blizzard or any emergency sets in during a school day and you are concerned for your child, you may come and get him/her from the Principal's Office.   In the event of inclement weather, school cancellations or closings will be announce over the following radio stations:    KKOJ 1190 AM-Jackson, KRAQ 105.7 FM - Jackson, KDOM 94.3 FM- Windom, KFMC 106.5 FM - Fairmont, KICD 107.7 FM- Spencer, IA, KUOO 103.9 FM - Spirit Lake, IA. KILR 95.9 FM, WCCO TV- Cable Channel 4, Minneapolis, and KSFY TV, Cable Channel 25,  Sioux Falls, S.D.

                                    Campbell's Labels for Education

Please keep the Box Tops coming.  It is great to see so many box tops come in. We do have a container at the grocery store in Lakefield and Almost New Consignment of Main Street. If you have Campbell soup labels, they can be put in the same container. When cutting out the box top, be sure that is has a expiration date on the bottom.  If the container says they have a box top, but no date on one, keep looking.  Sometimes they are on the bottom of a package or on the side.

We are also still collecting Campbell soup labels, Pizza Ranch wagons (located on the ends flaps of the boxes on take outs), and pop tabs.  So if you have any laying around, send with a student or bring to school.   Thank you to all who have contributed to the school in the past years. These items can also be dropped off at the grocery store in Lakefield or Almost new Consignment  if you don't have a student to send them with.  Anyway you can delivery them, it good for us.
