Learn About Mrs. Hendrickson

I grew up in Lakefield, MN.  As a child I went to Pleasantview Elementary.  I believe this is where teaching sparked my interest.  My teachers throughout grade school made me feel like an individual, growing up as a triplet, that was a big deal to me.  As I grew older I wanted to be several other occupations but always returned back to teaching. I graduated from Buena Vista University, Storm Lake, IA in 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education.  Throughout the past several years I have provided speech/language services K-12th grade at Southwest Star Concept School.  I have also substituted in several surrounding districts.  It is a great feeling to be back in the school I grew up, teaching amongst those who taught me.

My family and I live just outside of Lakefield.  Emma is three years old and enjoys helping me any way that she can.  Emerson is twenty months and keeps me on my toes.  My husband, Jesse, is the owner of Tri-County Electric.

In my FREE time I enjoy spending time with my family and scrapbooking.  I also enjoy reading and decorating cakes.  This past year my family and I also enjoyed visiting mom and dad's newest adventure, Bowstring Shores Resort, in Deer River, MN.
