Class Liaisons

Class Liaisons are those parents, grandparents or other family member who serves as an information helper between a Classroom teacher and the PTO.  For example, if the Kindergarten teacher would like PTO help with something they can let the Class Liaison know and the Class Liaison will contact the PTO Chair for further action. 

Serving as Liaison does not mean you must participate in all activities or meetings.  It simply means that you are helping with communication between teachers and the PTO.  If you are interested in serving as a Class Liaison it is helpful if you are in the school building at least once a week in the before or after school to touch base with the teacher. 

Classroom Liaisons are appointed at the beginning of each school year.  If you are interested in serving for the 2010/11 school year please contact Mary Boyum at boyumfamily@mac.com.
