The JCC Middle School Bands are young individuals that come together to make music.  Our purpose is to make each of us a better performer as an individual and to create and explore music as an ensemble.  Listed below are some guidelines that will help us achieve these goals together.

-Expectations: -
1. Be in the Band Room at the bell. 
2. Get into your seat as quickly as possible with all needed materials.

3. Keep hands, feet and negative comments to yourself. 
4. Respect all instruments and property, whether school or personal. 
5. There will not be any gum, food, drink or candy in the band room.

-Grades are figured on a point basis as follows:   Students earn points at these rates:    

A= 90 % or higher                                  30 pts. per rehearsal (you must have your instrument and music)

B= 80 % or higher                               

C= 70 % or higher                                150 pts. per Concert / Performance

D= 60 % or higher                                  30 pts. for each Band Lesson            

-Classroom Consequences - 
1. If you are tardy, you will lose 1/2 points for the day. 
2. Students will be made responsible to pay for any damage to property. 

3.  I reserve the right to immediately remove anyone for dangerous, abusive or disorderly conduct.
