PARENTS- Here's what you can do to help your child succeed in math:

#1.  Encourage your child to practice basic math facts & use "Study Island". 
       (This will be explained within the first few weeks of school.)

#2.  Help your child redo assignments that they did not do well on.

#3.  Encourage your child to come in and get extra help from me.
(I am available before & after school and during 2nd hour study hall.  T/A is also a possibility if prior arrangements are made w/ their advisor.)

#4.  Use parent portal to check your child's current grades

FYI- I put in AM scores ahead of time because some kids work ahead.  They need to have 12 done at the end of the trimester; I take only the top 12 scores so they can do more than required.  This will start 2nd Trimester.

#5.  ASK YOUR CHILD ABOUT MATH!
