HIGH SCHOOL
DAPE students meet once a week to swim on Monday mornings during first hour. We work on bilateral coordination, strength and agility. Sometime during that hour, the student completes four laps, four dives or jumps and plays a variety of water games. We are tested quarterly on the different strokes, jumps, dives, touching the bottom, trending water and swimming underwater. Our goal is improvement in each of the areas if possible.
DAPE students also meet once a week for an hour to work on their individual goals and objectives with a strong emphasis on lifetime recreational activities.
