| taste-testing many of the value-added products that are on the market today |

Meat science will also be covered, and the
students will once again test their taste buds when they try to distinguish
between species and different cuts of meat.
Other areas of study will be basic plant science and floriculture, with time
spend outside in the spring planning and planting.
